The name “Havarest” comes from my Grandparents Riverhouse that they had on the Woronora River South of Sydney.
Evidently the origins of the name comes from Matthew 11:28 “Come unto me all you who are laden, and I shall give you rest”.
The riverhouse was a favourite place for all who experienced it. It was very special for Ian’s Mum & Dad who after cremation wished that their ashes were mixed and dispersed at the riverhouse foreshore.
