This is the space left for projects for consideration or in progress.

Ian is still very much involved with development and review of a number of Australian Standards, continuing an involvement he’s had since 1993.
He also continues to be involved with Engineers Australia and especially with the Society of Building Services Engineers. He continues to support and provide insights to the Fire Protection Association of Australia.

Then there is the myriad of tasks at home, with the boat as well as maintenance at our local Church building as well as helping where we can our children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

  • It would be nice to get the permanent eaves strip lights up on the perimeter of the house.
  • Making up the defect report for the church
  • Need to clean up some wiring on the boat, fit the new windscreen wiper motor and multispeed control switch, plus the power feeds for the float your boat display lights.
  • Make up a tubular support stand (40mm PVC) for the Eternity sign to allow mounting on the Church Vestibule roof.( Hopefully for Easter)
  • At church install some outside power outlets, to allow perimeter events in the yard plus a feed to supply the Eternity sign as well as a couple of floor mount powerpoints for the stage (foldback speakers).
  • Need to trim the overhanging tree limbs at the Church (after the next wedding).
  • Need to refurbish the Calvary Garden yard light convert to Solar LED.
  • Rectory need the yard Parafloodlight (PAR38) replaced with LED type
  • Need to clear (Karcher) the rectory gutters and fix the upper story downpipe.
  • Need to put in a rockery drain at the hall.
  • Install some external and some internal eyebolt/ hooks at church to allow banner hanging.
  • At home replace roof peak strip lighting with something longer lasting (turned black in UV)
